Carmen Vergara

Carmen Vergara began her nursing career providing care to newborns in the Neonatal ICU at UIC.  At the UIC School of Public Health, Carmen combined research methods, nursing practices and community health strategies to help children better manage their chronic conditions. Right in her beloved Little Village where she grew up, Carmen joined Esperanza Health Centers in 2011.
