Bring Firebird Programming to Your Organization
Firebird Community Arts partners with schools, community centers, corporations, and nonprofits across Chicago to deliver transformative arts education (including our signature Project FIRE program). Whether you're looking to host classes at your site or send your community to ours, we make it easy to bring glassblowing, ceramics, and other fire arts to the people you serve.
The Details
Who We Work WIth
We offer flexible partnership models for:
K–12 Schools: in-school residencies and after-school programming aligned to social-emotional learning goals
Community Centers & Nonprofits: trauma-informed arts programming for youth and adults
Corporations & Private Groups: team-building workshops and private events that directly fund our mission.
Individuals & Families: drop-in classes, private lessons, and open studio access.
What Does It Cost?
Most of our mission-based programs are free or low-cost to participants. Pricing is structured as follows:
Mission-based partnerships (schools, nonprofits, community orgs): Most programs are fully free to participants; some operate on a sliding scale
Corporate & private workshops: Fair-market pricing — your investment directly subsidizes free programming for the broader community
When your organization pays for a workshop or event, you're not just getting a great experience — you're keeping art alive in Chicago neighborhoods that need it most.
How It Works
We come to you, or you come to us. Programming can be hosted at your location or at our East Garfield Park studio at 2651 W. Lake Street, Chicago, IL.
In-studio classes involving fire are designed for ages 10 and up.
